Thailand Beach Hotels

Thailand Beach Hotels
Thailand Beach hotels have come a long way from decades ago when this South East Asian destination was mainly a popular haunt for backpackers. Though low-budget hotels and guest houses are still very popular, a bevy of world-class beach hotels in Thailand have sprung up throughout the south. From sprawling resorts to ultra-luxurious private hotels, all travelers are accommodated, and with the traditional and renowned hospitality Thais are known for.

Phuket Beach Hotels and Resorts
The debate on which Thailand beach hotels and resorts in Phuket are best is always on. There are plenty of factors to consider, such as beach atmosphere, hotel or resort size, and hotel or resort facilities. There are both large resorts and hotels as well as small, intimate ones to choose between in Phuket amid dozens of beaches. Patong Bay Garden Resort is one of the most popular. The fair-sized resort offers 70 rooms. There are also a variety of room types, from superior and deluxe rooms to larger suites. The outdoor pools and beachfront offer lots to enjoy; from swimming to beach activities like snorkeling, while entertainment areas, shopping, and dining are within walking distance.
On the west side of Phuket is Kamala Beach and Kamala Beach Hotel and Resort (pictured above). The wonderful outdoor design is complete with four large pools, sundeck and bar, and a daily shuttle to Patong Beach. Rooms are modern and available in several sizes. An onsite dive shop and beach club is also available.
Koh Samui Beach Hotels
Centara Grand Beach Resort on popular Chaweng Beach on Koh Samui is a good choice for those seeking a large variety of services and amenities in a prime location. Contemporary hotel rooms are spacious while several suite types offer additional square footage. The dive center caters to diving and snorkeling tours and certifications. The hotel is a family hotspot due to the kids club, playground, and playroom. Sailing, cooking classes and other tours and activities are readily available to arrange. Club level rooms afford many extra guest luxuries and services.
For the ultimate romantic spot, The Tongsai Bay delivers in spades. This hotel sits amid 25 acres of lush, natural beauty peeking over onto a white sand bay. Tranquil and private (the beach is open to guests only) guests enjoy complimentary sailboating, windsurfing, and kayaking.
Koh Phi Phi Beach Hotels
Koh Phi Phi resembles two islands, one small and one large, connected by a natural bridge of land. Around the connecting area is the liveliest area of Phi Phi Don. Around the outer edges of both and within the three main bays, are a host of hotels and resorts to choose from. Phi Phi Island Village Beach Resort and Spa is a 4.5 star resort on the northeast side of the island on Lo Ba Goa Bay. Breathtaking landscape design involves pools, bridges, tropical foliage, and easy access all around the resort. An infinity pool, children’s pool with a water slide, and oceanfront spa are part of the hotel.
A beautiful interior courtyard welcomes guests to Phi Phi Island Cabana Hotel, located between Loh Dalum Bay and Tonsai Bay. Contemporary local architecture is reflected within all areas of the low-rise hotel. The Andaman Sea is the common view from all 162 rooms. Two decades of service has defined this hotel as one of the island’s best. All popular activities are available from the Islands Cabana hotel including fishing, scuba diving, and sea kayaking.
